Anyone who gets the chance to watch Girlfight, should. It would be one of the most kick ass movies you’ll ever see.

All fangirling aside, this movie truly shows off the raw talent of Michelle Rodriguez. She beat out 350 other girls for this role after showing up to the auditions late. (in roller blades, might I add) You can argue that Diana Guzman was a role that was made for Rodriguez with the similarities they share. Rodriguez herself rebelled against her surroundings as a teen, getting kicked out of 6 different high schools before finally dropping out. (She would later earn her GED) But as a first role for her, this character was a true testament to Rodriguez’s ability as an an actress.

// Happy birthday Michelle!//

Happy 32nd, Michelle Rodriguez! Thanks for being my idol for 8+ years. I want to be just like you when I grow up. <3

M-Rod as Rain Ocampo. Scenerio #1 which I fell in love.

Then I found this movie, where I reached the point of no return.

This wasn’t even an action movie, but this is definitely one of my top choices of movies with her. I loved her character Eden and loved the friendship between the 3 girls. I think I must’ve watched this more times than any other ones.
